As a Gnostic Witch, I’ve been waiting 2 months for the answer… ;-)

A friend of mine has a blog on various religious topics. It comments on Gnosticism occasionally, often in a satirical light. I’d be curious to hear an informed take on things. It’s at link

HAHA, Father Jordan. Thanks for coming. As you can see, my last couple of months have been rather busy. With 4 kids, 3 of them returning to a School of the Arts which requires extensive parental participation, 3 in martial arts and 1 in dance, and after their food/shelter, hygiene and love needs are met there is very little time left for ME! But, look who I’m talking to. How do you do it, Father Jordan….believe me, I’m all ears!

Seriously, nice to see you here. This (hopefully) is the start of my personal blog. Honestly, I don’t know what to expect when I think about developing this blog. The title Gnostic Witch is certainly going to be perceived differently from one person to the next. Some will lean more towards the Orthodox Gnostic trad while simply acknowledging the ‘magic’; others will use magic to explore Gnosis more deeply, and yet others may fall somewhere in between. (are the sacraments magic? I tend to think so)

I am a little nervous about putting the title “Gnostic Witch” into some neat and tidy little package, but, I do hope to express my version, and hopefully not offend anyone in the process.

I’d love to hear what you feel are important factors in your interpretation of the title ‘Gnostic Witch’. Do share!
